Yvonne + Wilbur Wedding Announcement
To announce the ceremonial confirmation of their lifelong commitment to one another, this Bay Area couple sought an invitation design that appeared sleek and compact upon delivery before expanding to reveal a graphic motif which embodied their mutual dedication. After reviewing several iterations which worked to this end, they decided upon the most simple, genteel image of an extending vine to represent the projection of their love through the years ahead of them. The invitation features a heavy-stock, satin photopaper enclosure with a fibrous, Japanese-mulberry paper nestled between in an accordion fold to achieve the desired effect of bearing witness to their flourishing devotion.
